I'm a registered member of both the UKCP and BACP.

My approach is integrative and relational, aimed at creating space to hear and understand your emotional reactions and repeating, deep-seated patterns.

Free 30-minute Consultation: Start Your Therapy Journey

The first step in starting therapy is for us to have an informal chat. Book a free 30- minute phone consultation where we'll discuss what issues bring you to psychotherapy.

I can answer any questions you may have about my approach to psychotherapy & counselling.  You'll get a sense if working with me feels right for you, and if so, we can discuss possible options moving forward.

About

How I see psychotherapy

Psychotherapy offers clients a confidential space to step aside from everyday life where we explore the difficulties you struggle with with curiosity and compassion.

Through this process, we begin to understand your emotional reactions and behavioural patterns - such as feeling angry, frustrated, scared, withdrawing or self-criticising - while you begin to build a new self-awareness.

If your concern is a challenging life transition or a recent loss we'll come to a new way of understanding that serves you better.

These new ways of seeing and responding to previously difficult issues or relationships will enable you to live more fully and freely.

Latest psychotherapy blog:
What is your depression trying to tell you?

This latest blog explores how depression is often presented as us being flawed in some way, when in fact a different approach altogether is needed.
