FAQs
-
How can therapy help me?Therapy can give you space away from your every day to explore and come to understand the problems you've been struggling with. And as we uncover underlying issues, you will find a new and more helpful way of seeing these issues as a new path of change opens up.
-
What type of therapy do you offer?I offer psychotherapy and counselling to individual adults in Brighton & Hove, Lewes and online. My approach is integrative which means I draw from several therapeutic approaches. This enables me to tailor the therapy to your individual needs.
-
How do cancellations work?I have a cancellation period of one month's prior notice. If the session is cancelled before that point then there is nothing to pay. I also always try to find an alternative time in the same week and also offer online as an option, though this is dependent on availability and cannot be guaranteed.
-
What availability do you have?I work in the Lewes on Mondays and from Tuesday to Thursday I work in Hove. I also work online. Please contact me to find which session times are currently available.
-
Is therapy confidential?Yes, everything that is said in sessions remains confidential. As a registered member of the BACP I abide by its code of ethics and its primary concern for clients' welfare. I explain confidentiality in more detail in our first meeting.
-

Lewes practice address: 49 Church Rd, Brighton and Hove, Hove BN3 2BE Hove practice address: Star Brewery, Studio 22, 1 Castle Ditch Lane, Lewes BN7 1YJ
-
How much does it cost? The fee per session is £80 - £90. This can be paid per session or invoiced and paid at the end of the month.
-
What are your qualifications?I hold an MA in Advanced Clinical Practice in Psychotherapy and Counselling from The Minster Centre, London, and a Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Counselling from CPPD, London. Free phone consultation
The first step is for us to have a chat. I offer a 30 minute free phone consultation where we'll discuss what issues bring you to psychotherapy, I can answer any questions you may have and you'll get a sense if working with me feels right. We'll then discuss possible options moving forwards.
